i dont even know what a lorentz group is but i'll look that up

i saw another video on lie groups and it doesn't seem as giga autism. the teacher was american and explained it in a way that humans can understand. i still dozed off halfway, but it seemed like he was actually talking about something tangible instead of just autistic word salad.

also, why does every fucking body in the science and math community have to define everything by people's names, its so fucking egotistical and makes every concept even more harder to understand than it already is. its like Einstein's physics is called SPECIAL RELATIVITY and GENERAL RELATIVITY, imagine if he called it EINSTEIN RELATIVITY instead of that. Like imagine if a bridge was invented in 5000 BC by a man with the name of Azerjaban, and everyone would call a bridge an "Azerjaban transport mechanism" instead of a bridge, imagine how retarded that would be. Or if instead of a fridge, we call it a "Perkins Containment Device". Fuck.
