- Protein and creatine build muscle mass. What determines how efficiently you build muscle is your testosterone levels primarily. However bones and muscle insertions have a much bigger impact on it if your natty or even enhanced. Steroids only amplify what you already have.
- Working on your lats and delts makes you look wider. This is the biggest myth. Even on steroids it's not true. A framecel like David Laid could take 600 mgs of test and a small dose of tren. Guess what? His upper body appears more masculine, but he's still stuck with his twink framem You can still see his frame isn't really that big under all his muscle.

Who looks better to you, the trenshark guys that cheat their genes with a shit ton of tren to look wide, or Deontay Wilder and the swimmer who simply just have a naturally masculine and dimorphic frame? Bones >>>>> Muscles.
- "Eating more food makes your muscles grow." Eat big to get big is a myth that only applies to steroid enhanced bodybuilders. Bulking as a natty is a waste of time. Food is not capable of altering the process of muscle protein synthesis. More food doesn't equal equal bigger muscles if the mps in the body doesn't allow it. This isn't true for steroid users. Since steroids heavily enhance muscle protein synthesis, more food could equal more growth for a roidcel, but only for them. More bricks does not equal a bigger house if the architects did not plan it. This is a myth spread by Mark Rippetoe.
- Steroids are just the finishing touch. This is something every bodybuilder will never admit. Without steroids there is no bodybuilding. Every athlete claims this too. If drugs are not of major importance in sports, why are they banned and looked down upon as cheating? Because that is how effective they really are.

How did Eugene Sandow get his physique? No exogenous hormones, no special dieting regimines, no calorie counting, or even specialized training equipment and routines, yet he looks better than most gym goers today. What should that tell you? It really isn't complicated.
- Bodybuilders follow strict diets and training regimines. This isn't true most of the time. Look at how branch warren trains. Kevin Levrone has openly admitted to winning eating junk food.
- Powerlifters and strongman carry less muscle mass than bodybuilders. They do not actually. They have just as much if not more muscle than bodybuilders, they're basically bodybuilders in a permanent off season that don't diet at all.
Dan green is actually as big as most ifbb pros. I have no clue who told this lie.
- You can weigh 200 pounds with abs. Nope that requires a ton of drugs sorry. In the 70s that was good enough to stand on the Mr Olympia stage. Guess what? To this day, there has never been a Mr Olympia that was drug free.
- Casey Butts formula. That calculator is why many people are depressed about their physique. He based his physique on bodybuilders taking steroids. None of Steve Reeves, Reg Park, John Grimek, and George Eiferman were natty. But bc they weren't walking pharmacies, people assume they're drug free. Especially reg park. He is how 5x5 is marketed. According to the 5x5 zealots, he was natural and the same size as Arnold. If you could reach Arnold's size with no drugs, why take them in the first place.
- "Overtraining". Look at Rocky Marciano and Mike Tyson, they both blatantly overtrained and it actually worked out well for them. Both ran a total of almost 30+ miles a day, hours and hours of calisthenics, and used a special bag that weighed 300 pounds. Both of them needed it as Rocky had a large amount of handicaps, and we all know what tyson went through when he fired Kevin Rooney.
