>Sunflower oil was shown to reduce inflammation. Mice given sunflower oil for 3 weeks induced complete and muscle-specific insulin resistance associated with increased inflammatory markers in insulin-sensitive tissues and macrophage cells. Sunflower oil supplementation was not effective in preventing or reducing these parameters. Furthermore, supplementation increased proinflammatory cytokine production by macrophages and tissues. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22988427/

Simply replace sunflower oil with butter or lard, it tastes better and is healthier.

Best consumed in moderation, like everything.
Also, this is a rat study, aka in vivo

No reason to demonize oils.
While they can be inflammatory, they also have their benefits, and don't necessarily have inflammatory effects, depending on the person's health.
If you want to keep your omega 6:3 ratio in check, don't overconsume these oils, pick ones with better ratios, sunflower is up there but still can be consumed in moderation.

Get other oils and flaxseeds, fish, for a better omega 3:6 ratio,
Game meat has good omega 3s, so go for lean healthy animals as source of meat. I get what you are trying to claim, but that they need to be eliminated is fear mongering and unnecessary.

Absolutely false. Flax seed oil is great. Olive oil is the holy grail of anti aging and looksmaxxing cooking oils, and that would be the ideal option (extra-virgin). Avocado oil is also a good option.
Saturated fat options, which both of these are high in, are not beneficial for aging or health.
LDL buildup is NOT beneficial
Lard is inferior to the aforementioned oils, slightly better omega 3:6 ratio then butter but still not great, added with the the fact of saturated fat leading to much disease.
It's interesting how someone can take a study on rats, which have a very low transfer rate to humans, interpret their reasoning and claim from it, exaggerating and derailing the benefits of this one dimensional take
While saturated fat has it's benefits, all out replacing it is not a good thing. The body also produces it's own saturated fat making it even less necessary.
If people are truly having issues, don't give them this elimination advice. It's not realistic or always achievable. While if you are a healthy person replacing oils with saturated fats it could be beneficial and not make in impact, you cannot assume everyone is metabolically or healthy to begin with. They need to reach that point. Butter is also far more expensive. It costs around twice as much. Low quality butter is also not really the most beneficial, which is higher in probability of what you obtain.
There's also many other causes to bloat, such as, carbonated drinks, high fiber (when not adapted to this), extremely high FODmap consumption, dehydration, bad gut health, autoimmune disease, being boneless, or just high in bodyfat%.
