Method I will doing shoulder isolation

I will try it today usually when I do lateral raises I feel it in my shoulders a ton. but also my upper traps which makes it hard for me to properly target my shoulders.

so u didn't do isolation work on ur shoulder till now 😦


lateral head of delts doesn't get enough stimulation in compound exercises
they always need isolation (all sorts of lateral raises)
 
According to Dr. Mike Israetel there is nothing wrong having your upper traps activate during lateral raises, its a bonus, you are still raising the dumbbells with your side delts, so no worry.
 
also there are better exercises for your side delts
one is laying lateral DB raises, other is cable lateral raises

the problem with conventional lateral raises you have no resistance in the strech position of the lift
