1. COUNT YOUR CHEMICALS, NOT YOUR CALORIES
Your body is like a forest. You have a microbiome, and your gut bacteria mediates the brain like you wouldn't believe. That's why when you fast, you grow new braincells. If you clean your brain, you allow the shifting of synapses and your neuro response goes down.
2. WHAT TO EAT
Single ingredient foods only. Have you ever tried fucking kale before? Because I sure didn't. I gagged it up in a sink for a week because of how disgusting it tasted. I ate goyslop all the time- try to go from goyslop to kale.
3. MEDITATE
You should meditate everyday. I have meditated for one hour every day for six months straight. Those 15 minute meditations you see online are complete and utter bullshit. Not going to do anything in the slightest. 1 hour- default mode network. 15 minutes- doesn't do anything with your default mode network. -No disconnection from stress. No shrinking of your amygdala. I did The Wim Hof Method, which is going into snow and laying down in it with minimal clothes or when snow wasn't available I'd do cold water. It's not cold. We just think it is.
4. LISTEN TO A BOOK EVERY SINGLE DAY
You have to understand that the thoughts you have are thoughts that are taught by someone else, and being taught those thoughts by someone else.
5. WHAT LEADS PEOPLE TO DEPRESSION
Eating goyslop, staying up late, having caffeine before bed, the ability to buy your whole daily food intake from a convenience shop. People have no clue what all of these things do to your gut. Mind your gut, keep your mind, because your belly is actually your brain, and that's a really hard thing to understand, when we don't like kale, when we don't like broccoli, when we don't eat proper food.
I guarantee you, there's certain days that you will wake up and say "I don't wanna do this" "I don't wanna have a cold shower". "I don't wanna sit here for an hour and do nothing" But I assure you, doing nothing is doing everything.
Fasting is doing nothing. It does so much stuff for your brain.
Meditation is doing nothing. It does so much stuff for your brain.
So my advice to you
Learn how to fast
Learn how to meditate
Learn The Wim Hof Method
Learn calisthenics, yoga, resistance training
Lean exercise other than the gym because its not the best for you. Like if were talking DNA health, going out hiking is better than going to the gym because of cardiovascular, neurogenetive health, because of the beauty of nature and life.
And at the end of the day, its research. So everything that I'm saying is research and books. I didn't go to college, I couldn't afford college.
So think about who your teachers are and what they teach you, but I guarantee you, if you want to cure depression. DO THIS SHIT.
