If you have ever purchased a funnel, then you may have been a brainlet at some point in time. A funnel is an obsolete product, used to rapidly transfer fluids (or solid fluids) into another container without any spillage. The reason that they are obsolete is because all you need to do is use an empty plastic bottle, cut the end of it, and you have yourself something that can do the same thing.

funnels usually have tighter necks though and that helps a lot with transferring fluid into another bottle

lol

wouldn't a tighter neck restrict flow?
let's say, for example, you have a bottle with a neck diameter of 2cm
now let's also say that you have a funnel with a neck diameter that is 1cm
now would you rather use another bottle with a 2cm diameter and risk spillage, or play it safe and use the 1cm diameter funnel?
the speed doesn't really matter, in places where you have access to a funnel (usually at home), you have all the time in the world
but yeah a bigger diameter of the funnel neck would increase flow

Ah yeah, I misinterpreted what you were trying to say.

Anyway, what I have found is just delitter, pick up trash, you can glue a vodka bottle with a tiny neck to another bottle, so you do not have to spend a dime on a funnel. This will also save the whole planet.
